Gift English Lessons

My experience with English lessons on Preply.com are very good. Actually, to be precise, with the teacher who teaches through the website. My son studies with him. I am very impressed with both the lessons and the level of English my son has achieved.

Unfortunately, there is no feature on Preply.com that allows to donate lessons. I asked them to add such functionality. The lady at Preply.com was very happy and answered that she had passed the idea to the development department, but it will take a while to create this functionality. In other words, this functionality will not be available soon.

So we have to manage differently for now. The temporary solution is as follows:

1. Olga set up a account on Preply.com. All four Ukrainians are going to use it.

2. Log in to her account and buy lessons (login: OlgaIraKlad@gmail.com , password: Qwerty123!)

The detailed procedure for gifting lessons is presented below. We need to purchase between 80 and 100 lesson hours. After logging in, check how many hours are purchased. If 100 hours or more are purchased, then don't buy any more. These 100 hours are enough for 6 months of intensive learning. I believe that more is not needed.

Procedure for Gifting Lessons

1. Go to www.preply.com and click "Log in"

2. Log in using the following credentials:

Email: OlgaIraKlad@gmail.com

Password: Qwerty123!

3. Check if the number of hours already donated is less than 100. If there are more than 100 hours of lessons, do not buy more - no more is needed. Choose the currency in which you will pay for lessons.

4. Click "Buy hours"

5. You should see one tutor - the one on the image below. Click "Buy hours".

6. Select number of lessons you want to gift

7. Choose the payment method: credit card or Paypal, and press "Procceed to payment"

8. Enter your credit card details

Attention! Make sure that the "Save this card for easy payments" and "Refill hours with this tutor" options are unselected.

Press "Confirm payment" and confirm the payment according to your bank's procedures.

9. Write Olga an e-mail saying: I added 6/12/20/40 hours of study to your account.

The Ukrainians are very grateful and will want to thank you for your support. Unfortunately, on preply.com they won't find out who supports them, and they would like to thank you and show off you their exams' results in the future.

10. If you need a receipt

Preply issues receipts for the data entered there. By default, this is the student's first and last name. Please add to the mentioned above e-mail that you need a receipt and provide the data to be placed on it. Olga will change the details in preply.com and send you an invoice with the details you provide. Just remember to keep the buyer's name and address as short as possible. There are two lines of text at the disposal and everything must fit in them.
